Boys and Girls, Let's All Go to the Digital World

Voting has opened for Ursa Major Awards.

The Ursa Major Awards are now open for voting. Anyone with an e-mail can vote as voting is done by fans and not a committee. The Ursa Major Awards are presented by a committee known as the Anthropomorphic Literature and Arts Association(AALA). The UMA's are presented to the best Film, Fiction, Comic, Short Story, Magazine, and Published Art in the furry fandom every year. Some Films that were chosen for the awards this year are: James Cameron's Avatar, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Up by Pixar animation, and Disney's The Princess and The Frog.
The Awards also nominate top games with an anthro theme my pick this year was Earth Eternal, a browser based MMORPG with options to chose from several furry themed races. Another notable entry into this years games category is Quentin Long's Predation. This board game puts two players against one another as predator and prey.The game consists of a hexagonal pattern board with a den and a warren. The object of the game is to capture all the other players pieces and put them into extinction.
In the other category I found a book I actually purchased this year: "Draw Furries: How to Create Anthropomorphic and Fantasy Animals". This book has many colorful illustrations of the furry kind giving tips and tricks from everything to easy sketches to full color Furry colored works.

Also noted that The Cat Piano was nominated in best animation short.
